A Fort Lauderdale pedestrian narrowly escaped what would have been fatal injury by literally jumping out of the path of a two-car collision. The drivers of the two cars weren’t as fortunate, however, and were transported to Broward General Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident. Interstate 75 in Pembroke Pines was the scene of a fatal auto accident last month in a scenario that is all too familiar to any accident attorney in Pembroke Pines. A compact car ran into the left rear fender of a pick-up truck causing the truck to overturn and killing the pick-up’s driver. The car sustained an estimated $15,000 worth of damage in the weekday afternoon crash, according to the accident report released by the Florida Highway Patrol.
