Floridians Should Take Care During Busy Thanksgiving Travel

When most people think about Thanksgiving, their brains immediately go to the three “Fs” – food, family, and football. It’s a day of gorging ourselves on hearty fare, surrounding ourselves with people we love (and, let’s be honest, sometimes a few that we just tolerate), and taking in the big games of the day. But for a huge number of Americans, the holiday is about something else as well – driving.

It is estimated that more than 46 million people in this country will drive 50 or more miles over the Thanksgiving weekend, including over two million Floridians. That’s a lot of cars on the road at once, but drivers in the Sunshine State are used to dealing with crowded roadways.…

Trampolines

Like their inflatable, castle-shaped sisters, trampolines come with potential for bruises, bone injuries, and concussions.…

The Cost of Motorcycle Accidents

Motorcycles are typically less expensive and use less gas than cars, making them a more cost-effective form of transportation. What’s much more expensive, though, is the cost of a motorcycle injury.

It shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that motorcycle accidents result in more serious injuries and have a higher average cost than car accidents; riders are protected by nothing more than what they are wearing, and an accident that might have resulted in nothing more than a fender bender for two car drivers can cause debilitating or even fatal injuries for someone on a motorcycle. Even when motorcycle accidents don’t involve a collision with a much heavier vehicle, the rider still risks hitting the pavement at a high speed and getting caught underneath their bike.…
